Corrections log
When a published page gets a fact wrong, we fix it in place and record the fix here, so you can see what changed and when.
What has been corrected?
No corrections have been logged yet. This log started on October 21, 2026; corrections made before then were fixed in place under the editorial policy but not recorded here.
What gets logged?
- Logged. A wrong figure, date, rule, eligibility condition or source; anything that could change a decision a reader makes.
- Not logged. Typos, formatting, broken links and routine data refreshes that follow a new source edition. Those change the page, not what it claimed.
How is a correction made?
- Checked against the source. We go back to the primary source the figure came from, or the one that should have been used.
- Fixed in place. The page is corrected and its reviewed date changes. The old URL stays.
- Recorded. The date, the page, what it said, what it says now and why are added to this log.
- Answered. If you reported it, we reply, including when we decide the original stands and why.
How do I report an error?
